MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

Do you offer a Fitness Programme for members? Absolutely. We want our members to be able to take full advantage of all of our equipment and facilities and to have a programme that will help them meet their goals. Fitness Assessment/Reassessment are free to book. Please speak to a member of staff. Does B-Active Fitness Club offer classes? Yes, we run classes every day of the week. We offer around 50 classes each week. Please click here for the latest Classes Timetable. Will I be charged for any classes? All classes are FREE of charge. Do I have to book for classes in advance? It is recommended, to ensure there will be a free space for you. You can do this online by clicking the ‘Book a Class’ option in the main menu or alternatively you can contact reception and they’ll book the classes for you. Is personal training available? Yes. Additional charges apply for this service. More information is available here. Will I be shown how to use the equipment? Absolutely, we want you to feel comfortable using all of our equipment and facilities. All you need to do is to book an appointment with one of our instructor (free of charge). Please contact reception if you wish to do so. What is the minimum age to join B-Active? You must be 16 or over to join. Age ID required. If you are under 18, we will need a parent or guardian to sign the registration form before you can join the Fitness Club. Can I bring a guest?  Yes. Members are welcome to bring guests. The Guest must be accompanied by a member and the guest fee €10 applies per person/ per visit.  

MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT

What is the minimum period I can sign-up for? The minimum Initial Period is 6 months. However you can chose between 6 or 12 month Membership Term. Can I pay as I go? B-active Fitness Club is members club only, hence we do not offer pay-as-you-go option for non-members. Can I defer my start date? Yes you can. Please speak to us at reception and we can organize this for you. Are your classes available to non-members? All classes are FREE of charge to members only. Can I freeze/pause my membership?  Yes, we allow this option under certain circumstances. Please contact reception for further details or click here for the full Membership Agreement. How do I cancel my membership? Once you passed the Initial Membership Period (monthly paid memberships), you can cancel your membership providing 1 month notice in writing. If you haven’t yet passed the Initial Period of your Membership Contract, you may be required to pay cancellation fee. MEMBERSHIP PAYMENTS

How can I pay for my membership? You can pay your fee in one upfront payment or in monthly installments through Direct Debit (subject to a joining fee). What day will my monthly payment come out? You can choose from 4 available dates at the joining. Please contact reception for further details. I missed my monthly membership payment, what do I do? You can settle outstanding payment here. Or you can simply pop in to the reception and settle the payment in person. Please note that the late payment fee of €10 applies. If I cancel my Direct Debit will that cancel the membership? No. Your membership is not cancelled until you follow all steps outlined in the Membership Agreement and you will receive your cancellation confirmation. Do you have a membership form? Yes, but you can also join online here. Alternatively you can pop in to the gym and fill out membership form at the reception. Do you offer a Corporate Membership? Yes, the Corporate Membership option is available for more than 10 employees from one company. Please contact the Club Manager at admin@b-active.ie for more details.  

SECURITY

Are there secure lockers available in the Club? Yes, there are lockers in the changing rooms. Will I be issued with a B-Active membership card? No. As of January 2016 our gym operates innovative check-in system using finger print reader. Is the B-active website secure? Yes, the membership application form on the website is secure. Any details will be fully encrypted and your Personal and Banking details will be kept private. Please refer to our Privacy Policy here for further details.  

FACILITIES

What are the Club’s Rules? Please click here to see our Club Rules. Is there car parking available at the B-Active Fitness Club? Yes, there is a shared car park available right outside the front door. Do you have facilities to store bikes? Yes, there is a bike rack in the car park in front of the Costa Coffe (next door).  Are there changing facilities in B-Active Fitness Club? Yes, we have separate changing rooms for men and ladies, lockers, showers, toilets. Hair driers are also available. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any further questions.
